This Privacy Policy explains how 3DPRINTWHAT, operated by Rostás Zsolt EV., collects, uses, stores, shares and deletes information when you visit 3dprintwhat.com, create an account, use Google sign-in, search for models, save bookmarks or use like and pack features.
1. Who is responsible for your information?
Rostás Zsolt EV.

2. Information we collect
- When you sign in with Google: Google provides the basic identity information needed to sign you in: your name, email address and Google account identifier. We use this information to create or identify your 3DPRINTWHAT account and keep you signed in. If you use Google sign-in, you choose a 3DPRINTWHAT username when prompted. We do not receive your Google password. We do not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, contacts or other Google services.
- When you register with email: we process the email address and username you enter. Supabase Auth handles the password for account authentication; 3DPRINTWHAT does not store or receive your password in readable form.
- Account features: if you are signed in, we store your account identifier together with bookmarked model identifiers, your selected like level for a model (1, 2 or 3), and any pack names and pack assignments you create. This lets us show your saved items when you return or sign in on another device. On first sign-in, bookmarks and like levels already stored in that browser may be merged into your account; an existing account like level takes priority if the same model is saved in both places.
- Search phrases: search phrases of three or more characters are sent to our database to provide and improve model search. The search log does not include your account identifier.
- Model popularity: when a model is liked for the first time in a browser, we record its model identifier in an aggregate count table. That event is not linked to your account in the application table. Your own saved like level is stored separately with your account as described above.
- Basic visit measurement: on the model feed, category and model pages, the site creates a random session identifier and records the page path, time spent on the page and record timestamps. The duration is updated while the page is visible. This session record does not include your 3DPRINTWHAT account identifier. It helps us understand visits and maintain the service; it is not used for advertising.
- Information stored in your browser: local storage may hold your theme choice, signed-out bookmarks and like levels, and the authentication session used to keep you signed in. Signing out clears the local bookmark and like-level cache for that browser and ends its sign-in session. Your account copies remain until you delete your account.
- Technical information: Cloudflare and other service providers involved in delivering or protecting the website may process technical request information such as IP address, browser and device details, requested URL and request time for delivery, security and troubleshooting.
3. How and why we use information
We use Google-provided name, email address and account identifier only to provide Google sign-in, create or identify your account, and maintain your signed-in session. We use your email, username and authentication information to operate your account. We use bookmarks, packs and like levels to provide the features you choose. Search phrases are used to return and improve search results. Model identifiers are used to maintain overall popularity counts. Session and technical information are used to understand page visits, operate, protect and troubleshoot the website.
We do not sell Google user data or use it for advertising, marketing profiles, credit decisions, or training artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models. We do not use Google user data for a purpose unrelated to providing or improving 3DPRINTWHAT's user-facing features.
4. Google sign-in data
If you select “Continue with Google”, Google authenticates you and sends the basic identity information described above to Supabase, our authentication provider. Supabase uses it to create or identify your 3DPRINTWHAT user account. We store the resulting account information in Supabase Auth. We do not access other data in your Google Account, and we do not receive your Google password. You can choose not to use Google sign-in and register with an email address instead.
5. Who processes or receives information?
- Supabase provides authentication and database hosting. It processes account information, authentication sessions, bookmarks, packs, like levels, search logs, popularity records and visit-measurement records as needed to provide the site.
- Google provides the sign-in service when you choose it.
- Cloudflare hosts, delivers and protects the website and may process technical request information for those purposes.
We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not give Google-provided identity information to advertisers or unrelated third parties. The service providers above process information to provide their services to us. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the security and rights of users, the service or others.
3DPRINTWHAT links to model listings on third-party platforms and may provide a Treatstock referral link for print quotes. If you follow one of these links, that provider's privacy policy applies. Treatstock may process referral information and 3DPRINTWHAT may receive a commission on a qualifying order. We do not receive your Treatstock payment details.
6. Storage and international processing
Account and feature data are stored by Supabase. The website is delivered and protected by Cloudflare. These providers may process information in countries outside Hungary or the European Economic Area, depending on their infrastructure and configuration. Where required, transfers are made under applicable data-transfer safeguards.
7. Retention and deletion
Your Google sign-in identity information, email, username and account data are retained while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account from the My Account page or request deletion by emailing [email protected]. Account deletion removes your Supabase Auth account and the account-linked packs, bookmarks and like levels. It cannot be undone. Browser-local copies on other devices may remain until cleared from those devices.
Search phrases, aggregate model-like events and visit-measurement records are not linked to your account identifier in the application tables. We do not currently apply an automatic deletion schedule to those records. Because they are not linked to an account, we cannot reliably identify all such records as belonging to a particular account when that account is deleted. Technical security logs held by service providers are retained according to their own policies and settings.
Browser-local theme preferences remain until you change or clear them. Signing out clears the local bookmark and like-level cache on that browser; deleting an account clears the local account cache on the device used to delete it.
8. Security
The website uses HTTPS to protect information in transit. Authentication is handled by Supabase Auth, and access to account features is controlled through signed-in sessions and database access controls. We limit the information requested from Google to basic identity data needed for sign-in and take reasonable steps to protect information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
9. Cookies and similar technologies
The current website code does not include a third-party advertising pixel or advertising cookie. It uses browser local storage for the purposes described above, including theme preferences, local bookmarks and like levels, and the sign-in session. Google, Supabase, Cloudflare and external sites may use technical storage or process connection information when providing their services.
10. Your choices and rights
You may use email registration instead of Google sign-in, sign out at any time, and delete your account from the My Account page. Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of or portability of your personal data; object to processing where that right applies; or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Contact [email protected]. We may ask you to verify your identity. You may also complain to your supervisory authority; in Hungary this is the National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH).
For more information, see GDPR & Your Rights and Terms & Conditions.
11. Changes to this Policy
We will update this page if our information practices change. The current version and its update date will be published here. If a change affects how we use Google user data, we will update this Policy before using that data for the new purpose.
